Charity Heroes Austria is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing joy and support to children facing challenging circumstances. They provide visits by volunteers dressed as beloved superheroes, princesses, and other characters to children in foster care or hospitals. These visits aim to create magical moments, offering activities like reading, crafts, games, and face painting, helping children escape their struggles and enjoy a sense of normalcy and happiness.

Their mission is to provide “hero time” to inspire and uplift children during challenging periods in their lives, reinforcing the message that everyone deserves a happy childhood, no matter their circumstances. The organization operates entirely on a volunteer basis, and their services are free of charge, funded by donations.

Volunteers will use “Hero” accounts to certify Bravery, Courage, Beauty, Kindness, Creativity, Humor and other GETS badges.  DFAC will double any donation with $GETS tokens awarded to the volunteers and kids.
