A letter to parents

Dear Parent or Guardian,

Your child’s class is taking Agents & Assets, a ten-mission course in how AI and digital finance actually work. It takes about 3.5 hours in total and runs entirely in a web browser.

A recent national survey found that 72% of US teens aged 13 to 17 have already used an AI companion, and one in four has told one their real name or where they live.* In a world with such exposure to potential harm, this course gives them the understanding to critically navigate AI and protect their online identity.

By the end of the course your child can:

  • Spot a fake image, voice or text, and say exactly what gives it away
  • Tell the difference between an AI predicting them and knowing them
  • Check a public financial record themselves instead of taking a claim on trust
  • Send and verify a digital transaction
  • Run an AI on their own machine with the network switched off
  • Write instructions clear enough to get a reliable answer
  • Build a simple working agent of their own design

What you should know:

  • Nothing to install. No download, no device access, no app, no messaging system.
  • We ask for no names and no school records, and we store nothing your child types.
  • Five of the ten missions use no AI at all.
  • Badges are optional. Every mission can be completed without an account.
  • $GETS are utility tokens on Coinbase, redeemable for merchandise and discounts at approved vendors.

About the badges: these are independently verifiable certifications your child keeps for life, and any employer or college can check one. The fee is $50, a 50% discount for students and under-18s. Use the Donate button at getstoken.org. In the Notes or Message box, write your child’s name and school, the class you wish to donate tokens to, or your reason for requesting a scholarship if you are unable to pay.

To give permission, tick the boxes below and return this sheet to the school.
