Terms of Use

Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Version 1.0

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the GetSmart Token platform ("Platform"), including the website at getstoken.org, the "Agents & Assets" email course, and any associated services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

The Platform is operated by Digital Financial Aid Corporation, a Florida 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation ("we", "us", or "our").

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 11 years old to use the Platform.
  • Users under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA) require verifiable parental or guardian consent.
  • By creating an account you confirm you meet these age requirements or have obtained the necessary parental consent.
  • The Platform is not available in jurisdictions where its use would be prohibited by law.

3. Account registration

You may register using Coinbase OAuth. Your Coinbase wallet address serves as your primary identifier. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must not share your credentials or allow others to access your account.

4. $GETS token & blockchain activity

  • $GETS is a utility token. It is not a security, investment instrument, currency, or financial product. It provides access to features and rewards within the Platform ecosystem.
  • Token rewards are earned by completing verified educational activities and are subject to platform availability.
  • On-chain transactions are irreversible. We are not responsible for errors in wallet addresses provided by you.
  • Token values may fluctuate. We make no representations about the future value of $GETS tokens.
  • Nothing on the Platform constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to game, exploit, or fraudulently obtain $GETS tokens or credentials.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its underlying infrastructure.
  • Impersonate another person or entity.
  • Harvest or scrape data from the Platform without authorisation.
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.

6. Credentials & intellectual property

Blockchain credentials issued on your behalf are associated with your wallet address and are yours to retain. However, the credential design, branding, and underlying platform remain the intellectual property of Digital Financial Aid Corporation. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute platform assets without prior written permission.

Course content (including CitiZen artwork, mission text, and educational materials) is protected by copyright and is licensed for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

7. Donations & sponsorships

Donations and Pioneer Sponsor payments are processed by Stripe and are made to Digital Financial Aid Corporation, a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit. Donations may be tax-deductible in the United States — please consult your tax adviser. All donations are non-refundable unless required by law. On-chain donation records are publicly visible and immutable.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We do not use cookies or tracking technology on this website.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Platform.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Digital Financial Aid Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or digital assets, arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including Coinbase, Google, Stripe, and the Base blockchain network. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

12. Changes to the Platform or Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes to these Terms by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Florida, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
