Ten guides, one per mission. Five of them set you a task here; the rest are simply willing to answer. For The Neon Ninja the whole model runs on your own device with the network switched off — nothing you type leaves the machine.

How It Works
Most missions
CitiZens 1–4 and 6–10 answer over the internet. What you type travels to a company’s computer, which works out the reply and sends it back.
Mission 5 — the Void
The Neon Ninja is different. The whole model downloads into your browser and runs on your own machine. Switch the network off and she still answers.
The kill switch
In Mission 5 the terminal checks you are genuinely offline before it will talk. That is the proof, and it is why the code it gives you cannot be faked.
